POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for performing grounds, turf and landscape maintenance assigned by the Head and Assistant Groundskeeper.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Perform turf and landscape activities such as such as dragging, raking, tamping and watering the playing field.

· Assist with maintenance and repair of irrigation system.

· Assist with the set up and removal of batting practice equipment.

· Prune and trim trees, shrubs and flowers.

· Assist in the placement and removal of the infield tarp during inclement weather.

· Assist with cleanup and maintenance of tools, equipment and the shop work area.

· Other responsibilities as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

· Skills and knowledge to perform routine manual and physical task regularly.

· Self-motivated with the ability to work in a team environment.

· Exceptional organizational skills and consistent punctuality.

· Ability to operate grounds equipment.

WORKING CONDITIONS/WORK SCHEDULE:

· The seasonal groundkeeper work schedule operates from March – October. Includes long and flexible hours during the baseball season such as weekdays, weeknights, holidays and weekends.

SALARY RANGE:

· $17.50/hr. This is a part time position not eligible for all company benefits
