Quality Analyst

Position Summary:

This position collaborates with Quality and Risk Management to support patient safety as a system analyst for event reporting and quality outcomes programs.

This position is eligible for remote work.

Responsibilities:

  • Functions as the primary Patient Safety Event Reporting (i.e., MIDAS) System Administrator for the organization with focus on provision of access and security, worklist development, focus study and report building
  • Implements and oversees change control process for system including creating system documentation, procedures guides, and workflow diagrams
  • Oversees dictionary maintenance between Midas and EMR (Epic/Meditech)
  • Coordinates MIDAS system upgrades and assists with user education
  • Supports quality and safety improvement work through preparing analysis and reports
  • Assists with other reporting, data entry tasks and system needs of the department/organization
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function

Requirements and Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a health related position or equivalent experience required
  • Midas system experience preferred
  • System administration experience preferred
  • Project management experience strongly preferred
  • Experience in computer programs such as Microsoft Excel, Power Point, etc. required
  • Experience in data analysis techniques desired (queries, drills, sorting, formulas)
  • Experience with quality improvement statistical concepts preferred

Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to lift or move up to 25 lbs
  • Must be able to maintain a standing and/or sitting position
  • Typical equipment used in an office and clinical job
  • Repetitive movements

Pay: $73,185.00 - $86,100.00 per year
