Schedule: Full-time, 5 days a week Monday to Friday 9- 5
Location: Skaneateles, NY
Overview:
A busy family is seeking an experienced Housekeeper. This person needs to drive, and be active, like dogs, and children. The home is formal even though it is in the country. The client likes everything ironed and they themselves keep a tidy, clean home. They are looking for someone willing to lead and support the running of the home. The candidate must be eager to serve, as some days will run longer than others.
Positions:
Housekeeper/Cook
- Housekeeping: responsible for full charge of systematic housekeeping, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting, as appropriate, all floors and household surfaces, including antiques. Clean windows, bathrooms, and beds, take care of all house plants
- General family washing and pressing, laundry, and household linens is required
- Keep inventory, run errands, purchasing supplies, coordination with vendors.
Competencies and Qualifications:
Previous housekeeping experience required- Have strong respect for and understanding of household management to maintain a clean home
- Have knowledge of cleaning and care for fine furnishings, valuables, and artwork
- Good attitude and ability to be a team player
- Listen, adapt, anticipate, communicate, and execute
- Clear communicator.
Compensation and Benefits:
- $35/hr. – $37/hr (based on experience)
