Do you want to make a difference in people's lives and in our community? We are hiring for an intake specialist. Intake specialists are the first face clients meet. Duties include: taking a detailed client history, gather information specific to a DSM 5 TR diagnosis, review and conduct basic assessments, type up clinical documentation, enter chart and clinical notes, check chart for appropriate forms and consents, developing a treatment plan, and maintaining structure in the initial assessment interview. Skills include highly effective, clear, and concise written and verbal communication, highly organized, detail oriented, personable, open and receptive to feedback, work well under pressure, and be able to thoroughly support the diagnosis through documentation practices. MUST have a bachelors degree in SOCIAL WORK, COUNSELING, PSYCHOLOGY, or HUMAN SERVICES.

This is a contractor only position which may turn into a salaried position for the right candidate

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
