Now Hiring: Project Manager - Custom Landscapes

Do you have interest in joining an established, professional firm in Whitefish,
Montana? Forestoration, Inc. is a design/build firm focusing on custom landscapes, trails, and forest management. Our firm is currently looking for an experienced project manager for custom landscape installations.

Work Season:
Season typically runs full time from April - November. Limited work may be available during winter months.

Position description:
Landscape Project Manager to manage on-site installations of custom landscapes.

Knowledge/duties:
Significant experience in all aspects of landscape installations is required. Must be able and willing to work closely with crew and delegate tasks as necessary in order to complete work in efficient and quality manner. Will be responsible for overseeing daily operations on job site. Good candidates will have experience with stonework, machinery, irrigation, planting, and welding. Knowledge of native plants a plus.

Skills and abilities:

• Ability to read and interpret scaled site plans
• Ability to work well with others while leading a crew
• Ability to keep a project on budget
• Experienced operating skidsteers, excavators, and other equipment
• Willing to work outside in all weather conditions
• Ability to safely load and haul trailers with equipment, stone pallets, and other materials
• Coordinating work flow between employees and subcontractors

Responsibilities:

• Communicate daily with company owners and fellow crew members
• Track labor, equipment, and materials on a daily basis
• Create weekly spreadsheets
• Coordinate crew schedules depending on project needs
• Oversee & maintain safe working conditions daily
• Communicate effectively with clients

Expectations:

• Available for full-time work through the entire season April-November
• Willing to work overtime as necessary

Compensation: $25 - $30 per hour, depending on experience. Overtime paid at 1.5x regular pay.
