Rivkin Radler LLP seeks a No-Fault Litigation Legal Assistant with 5+ years of law firm experience working full-time in our Jacksonville, FL office. EOE.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide secretarial support to multiple attorneys as requested, including answering phones, time entry, scanning documents, copying, faxing and other clerical duties as required.
- Create, revise and format complex legal documents, including motions and answers.
- Electronic filing of court documents using the NYSCEF and CM/ECF platforms.
- Convert documents from Word to PDF or from PDF to Word.
- Prepare status/appearance reports to clients.
- Proofread work for accuracy prior to routing or returning to attorneys/employees.
- Transcribe tapes into letters, reports, marketing presentations and supporting handouts.
- Prepare expense reimbursement forms.
- Strong organizational skills, multi-tasker with attention to detail.
- Advanced Microsoft Word skills typing 55+ words per minute.
