Nurse Practitioner-Primary Medicine

Locations: Atlantic City, NJ

Shift: Full-Time, Monday- Friday.

Requirements:

Education & Experience

• Master’s Degree in nursing from a school accredited by a nursing accrediting association recognized by the U.S. Department of Education

OR

• Master’s Degree in nursing and completed a post-master’s program that focuses on an advanced practice nursing specialty from a school accredited by a nursing accrediting association recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

Experience:

• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a Nurse Practitioner is preferred.
• Must have an understanding of Primary Medicine.

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification

• Registered Nurse licensed in the State of New Jersey
• Currently certified as a Nurse Practitioner by a national certifying agency that is accredited by the American Board of Nursing Specialties and/or the National Commission for Certifying Agencies
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation that is insured per state regulations.
• Satisfactory criminal, motor vehicle background checks, professional references and drug screening.

Responsibilities:

• Perform medical examinations and patient home visits based upon patient need.
• Assist in managing the patient’s symptoms including prescribing medication or care by coordinating with referring providers.
• Document visits in the patient’s clinical record.
• Communicate effectively with the Primary Medicine Team.
• Provide the services in timely and professional manner and in accordance with; (i) the bylaws and operational policies and procedures of Primary Medicine, including without limitation, its Compliance Program; (ii) Primary Medicine’s written policies and procedures including those related to billing submission; (iii) local, state and federal laws and regulations
• Demonstrate and maintain a positive, professional manner, and manage time efficiently and effectively.
• Develop and maintain effective and positive relationships with the interdisciplinary group, other professionals and providers in the community.
• Able to exercise independent judgment, critically analyze situations, and make recommendations using appropriate problem-solving skills.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work and communicate within all levels of the organization supporting the mission and vision of the organization.

Our client provides comprehensive Palliative, Transitional, and Hospice care, house call primary medicine and TeleHealth services to patients, and professional support to their families. They have multiple locations around South Jersey.

Pay: $110,685.00 - $135,000.00 per year
