Job description

Responsibilities

• Prepares operating room, equipment, and supplies needed for use during surgery
• Provides pre-, intra-, post-operative nursing care
• Advocates for patient's safety during operations
• Collaborates with the other members of surgical team
• Assesses, develops, and implements total nursing care for post-operative patients
• Records and reports to appropriate persons all symptoms, reactions, abnormalities, and changes in the physical and/or mental conditions of the post-operative patients
• Assists with compliance and accreditation

Requirements

• Current valid State of Florida license as a Registered Nurse
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Minimum of 1 year OR experience required (circulating experience preferred)

General

• Must provide a phenomenal level of customer service and patient care
• Must have the ability to multi-task and show flexibility in assignments
• Must be self-motivated

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $40.00 per hour
