Better Home Improvement has been in business for over 31 years. Providing quality sunrooms, screen rooms, windows, siding, and patio covers. We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager/Bookkeeper to join our team!

Operations Manager/Bookkeeping responsibilities

  • Must be proficient in QuickBooks and Excel
  • Maintain QuickBooks for Better Home Improvement, Park Place LLC, and Park Place Business Suites Association
  • Maintain accurate ledgers
  • Process all transactions (AP and AR)
  • Pay all monthly bills
  • Maintain sales reports and commissions
  • Maintain the companies CRM Tool, MarketSharp
  • Maintain WC and CL certifications for annual audit
  • Acting as Liaison between internal and external customers, suppliers, and subcontractors
  • Assist in project management of working jobs
  • Process all financing applications for customer approvals
  • Process payroll and pay vendors weekly
  • Reconciliation of all checking accounts and American Express

Operations Manager/Bookkeeper skills and qualifications

  • 2+ years of accounting and/or bookkeeping experience
  • Ability to multi-task under pressure
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Works well independently
  • Team player and flexible to pitch in wherever needed
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Strong work ethic
  • Leadership experience is a plus
  • Construction administrative experience is a plus
  • States Notary License is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
