Position: Aircraft Security Agent @ Austin-Bergstrom Intl. Airport. 3+ hr shifts 4 days a week.

Pay Rate: $21.00/ HR (PART TIME ONLY)

Position Objective: An Aircraft Security Agent will be responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for guests and airline staff throughout airport premises whilst complying with safety protocols

General Qualifications:

• 18 and over
• Reliable transportation
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Able to pass FBI clearance background check.
• Resume required.

Aircraft Security Agent Duties, Knowledge and Responsibilities:

• Authorize and monitor any and all airline staff or visitor entries / departures of the aircraft
• Comply with all Transportation Security Administration (TSA) checkpoint screening requirements and processes
• Provide great customer service during all interactions with customers or staff of all levels
• Follow airline / airport safety protocols and procedures at all times to maintain a safe environment for passengers and staff
• Operate detecting devices or conduct pat down for screening purposes to prevent passage of prohibited articles within restricted areas
• Maintain a professional demeanor throughout any and all interactions with the ability to de-escalate any difficult situations that may arise
• Create daily reports of activities or irregularities - such as any damages, theft, unusual occurrences or presence of unauthorized persons
• Perform other duties and tasks as required

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift, carry / hold 75 pounds or more
• Must be able to lift, squat, stoop, pull, push, stand / bend frequently throughout the course of a shift
