Payroll Accountant
Job description
University of Florida Proton Therapy Institute (UFPTI), located in Jacksonville, Florida, has an opening for a Payroll Accountant. This position is responsible for processing the company’s bi-weekly, third party payroll, assisting employees and management with payroll related questions, reconciliation of payroll and preparing general accounting transactions.
Qualified candidates should have at least one year of payroll processing experience, knowledge of payroll regulations and wage/hour laws, proficiency with Excel, Word and Outlook, and strong analytical skills. Must be an effective problem solver and have aptitude for attention to detail. Prior experience with Paycor payroll system and accounting experience preferred.
