Job description

We are searching for a full-time, Pediatric Medical Assistant to work with our dynamic and energetic staff. The ideal candidate will need to work both independently and as part of a team and will be responsible for many different tasks that include assisting with patients' check-ups and procedures, collecting and processing medical data and helping with billing and scheduling. The candidate we're looking for has experience working in pediatrics, has excellent organizational and leadership skills, is capable of thinking quickly on their feet, is friendly, hardworking, detail oriented and dependable. Pay will be commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:

• Be a point of contact between staff and practice manager.
• Greet patients and their families upon arrival.
• Ensure patients are comfortable during medical procedures.
• Get patients the help they need using office equipment.
• Record vital signs, allergies, and other information on patient records.
• Administer tests or vaccines that are ordered by the physician.
• Communicate patient information to physician.
• Accurately document patient visit history.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $24.00 per hour
