Duration: 6-12 Months Contract
Location: 100% Remote
We are seeking an Oracle PL/SQL developer. This position can be remote and the duration for this work will be 6 months with flexibility to extend if needed.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a PL/SQL developers with strong technical and systems development experience. You will be part of a team that supports a large, multi-application Oracle enterprise system. The person will work with the development team, client and research staff, and end users to define and document requirements, support design and implementation of software solutions, develop and execute test plans, and provide analytical and technical support for ongoing system operations.
Job Responsibilities:
Documenting and developing integrated solutions, assisting with code reviews, deploying and validating technical solutions.
Provide analytical and technical support for ongoing system operations.
Troubleshoot and tune poor performing queries using PL/SQL.
Write complex business application logic using database triggers and packages.
Required Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
10+ years of Oracle development experience is required (Oracle 11g or 12c preferred).
In addition, applicant must have a working knowledge of writing complex business application logic using database triggers and packages is required.
Good experience with designing, developing, performing and writing unit test case documents and debugging production issues.
Excellent PL/SQL skills with ability to troubleshoot and tune poor performing queries is required.
Clear understanding of relational modelling and analytical queries is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Working knowledge of XML and JSON functions; XML, JSON constructs in Oracle.
Working knowledge of Git and SVN.
Minimum Qualifications:
Excellent communications and writing skills.
Must be able to work independently or part of a cross-functional team.
Ability to multi-task and detail oriented.
