The Platinum Club Member Lounge and Ski Valet offers private lockers and equipment storage. This department is responsible for providing exemplary guest service while facilitating rental locker sales, valet ski check, concierge services, lesson, season pass and lift ticket needs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional, above and beyond Guest Service while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced and vibrant environment.
• Provide concierge services and assist guests with equipment storage and retrieval. Direct guests around the resort and answer guest questions on all resort activities while communicating clearly and precisely to help guests understand all directions.
• Process sales in Resort Point of Sale system; provide other tracking in various computer software systems. Gathering and inputting all customer information into our computer system.
• Selling and or up-selling all resort products from pre-bookings to in-person, walk-up guests including: locker rentals, equipment valet, ski school lessons, ticket and season pass needs as well as collecting and checking appropriate release of liabilities for each guest.
• Perform daily opening and closing procedures including: cleaning the member lounge and work areas, vacuuming, snow removal and trash disposal.
• Platinum Club Concierge and Ski Valet Attendants are required to arrive at work on time regardless of weather conditions as well as actively work in all department locations and or perform other duties as assigned.
• Leadership positions in this role are also responsible for adhering to all departmental and company policies and procedures while promoting a positive and safe work environment and upholding Vail Resorts mission and values, support team and assist in the resolution of guest concerns, create work schedules and hold staff accountable.

Qualifications:

• Positive, proactive work ethic and a desire to help others. MUST enjoy guest service and working directly with guests for a majority of the day.
• Ability to maintain composure and professionalism under pressure. Must be self-directed and timely with strong attention to detail and ability to problem solve, multi-task and work quickly.
• Ability to work on a team, maintain a positive attitude, communicate clearly and work well with the public and other departments.
• Strong communication skills; ability to speak, read and communicate in English and use proper grammar when writing at all times.
• Ability to learn new computer software systems. Knowledge of Microsoft Office software systems is helpful.
• High School Education

The budgeted range starts at $20 - $22.71. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
