Charlotte Plumbing has been providing quality service to residential new construction builders, re-modeling contractors, and the residents of Charlotte, Desoto, and Sarasota Counties for over 40 years, and we are looking for skilled plumbers to join our growing team.
If you have over two years of experience in 1st Rough (underground), 2nd Rough, Trim, Re-modeling, Re-pipe, water & sewer connections, or operating a backhoe, we would love to hear from you.
Skills required
- Proven experience as a plumber in any of the areas above
- Ability to read a blueprint and manage basic fractions (1/4 + 1/8 + 1/16 etc.)
- Understanding of relevant residential construction plumbing codes
- Ability to work alone, or as part of a team
- Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, soldering etc.)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly with a great deal of patience
- Good physical condition and strength, with the ability to work in awkward spaces
- Must have a clean (5 years) driver’s license
Additional beneficial Skills
- Experience with both Uponor (expansion) and Pex B (crimping) systems
- Operating a backhoe to dig 1st Rough and water / sewer connections
- Service experience
- Re-pipe experience
- Re-model experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $27.00 per hour
