PURPOSE
Supervise and manage Program Aides and all Clients enrolled in programs.

Physical Demands
- Sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time
- Reaching, handling, communicating, using near vison/visual depth perception
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs
- Must be able to push/pull respectively up to 50 lbs
Work Environment
- Subject to constant interruptions
- Toileting assistance required
- Exposed to antisocial behavior and to various types of pathogens
- Must be able to perform duties from home when circumstances are unavoidable
COVID Regulations
- In accordance to State Licensing requirements, all program staff must provide proof of vaccination or provide a religious or medical exemption
- Exempt employees are required to be tested routinely
- Additional testing for all employees may be required but is subject to change depending upon circumstances
ACTIVITIES
- Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am- 4:00pm, 8:00am- 3:30pm, 8:00am- 2:30pm as deemed necessary by workload
- Regular attendance and punctuality are expected of all employees.
- Travel: as needed between facilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Manage Program Aides
- Supervise clients
- Overseeing documentation completed by Program Aides
- Maintain and complete accurate daily documentation and reports
- Coordinating with Case Manager to discuss concerns, behaviors, and/or goals
- Make sure that staff maintains a professional, positive work environment
- Attend training and meetings as scheduled
- Oversee distribution and/or distribute client medication
- Monitor all safety procedures are being followed
- Report safety concerns, issues immediately to Supervisor
- Assist staff in client behaviors
- Assist in client medical emergencies
- Assist clients in toileting and menstrual and other care as needed
- Creating and implementing the daily schedule in accordance with the calendar
- Listing who is assigned to which activities for the day on the board
- Holding morning meeting with Program Aides to go over daily activities
- Oversee and Instruct clients in the performance of work, life skills, job skills training and interpersonal skills development
- Approving lunch out forms before the outing
- Creates monthly calendar
- Scheduling community outings
- Requesting supplies
- Coordinating monthly drills
- Train new staff on working with the clients, daily activities, toileting assistance, how to handle client behaviors and medical emergencies
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND GENERAL ABILITIES) -
- High School Diploma or GED
- Leadership skills
- Clean current DMV printout for VDDP certification
- Current CA Drivers license
- Microsoft Office Software
- General Knowledge of persons with disabilities

- Use of multi-line phone

PREEMPLOYMENT CONDITIONAL OFFER REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to pass State and FBI Fingerprint clearance
- Must be able to pass Drug Screen, including alcohol and marijuana
- Must be verified cleared through the Office of the Inspector General (OIG)
- CPR and First Aid training provided
