The project manager applies tools, techniques, knowledge, and skills in the pursuit of driving projects to a successful completion. We are looking for a motivated self-starter and effective communicator who can collaborate with cross-functional team members and subject matter experts to get results. This role is part of the project management team within Wellfleet and the MedPro PMO- as such we also want a candidate who will collaborate with the rest of the project management team to further develop themselves and help us mature our overall project management practice.
In this role, you will…

  • Manage the day-to-day activities of projects, including overseeing project responsibilities and schedules. Develop contingency plans for potential risks.
  • Monitor project results for significant deviations. Ensure adherence to quality standards, processes, and compliance on an ongoing basis.
  • Evaluate and manage MedPro requirements to ensure that service expectations are achievable, and business needs and specifications are developed and met.
  • Influence, motivate, and coach project staff. Identify the training and development needs of MedPro project team members.
  • Maximize staff contribution via resource management to increase teamwork and more effectively meet business needs.
  • Use MedPro provided tools and processes to communicate project updates and needs with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform other Duties as assigned.

We are looking for candidates with…

  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree.
  • Formal Project Management training.
  • Exceptional time management skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills to properly organize teams, delegate tasks, and manage project priorities.
  • Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile program management methodologies (preferred).
  • Experience with documentation and attention to detail.
  • JIRA software experience is a significant plus.
  • Health insurance industry acumen is preferred.
