Overview:

The Q/C Scientist will prepare, run and analyze samples for the Quality Control Laboratory utilizing HPLC and GC. In addition, the Scientist will also assist QA/QC with documentation and other related tasks such as label verification and internal audits.

Hemp-derived cannabinoids, including wholesale raw ingredients, finished goods, and custom solutions - the singular destination for excellence in cultivation, extraction, processing, manufacturing, R&D, traceability, and fulfillment.

Pay: 60-85K depending on exp

Location: Roxboro, NC (Onsite)

Duties:

• Prepare, run and analyze samples as needed using HPLC
• Prepare, run and analyze samples as needed using Headspace GC-FID
• Record analytical results and communicate information across functional teams
• Basic troubleshooting of all analytical instrumentation and equipment
• Work together with supervisor to maintain production timelines
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Read and follow standard operating procedures and department protocols
• Additional tasks as assigned by management for production and processing

Qualifications:

• Previous experience with chromatography techniques
• Experience using HPLC and or GC
• B.S. in science or related field, M.S. degree preferred
• Experience with HPLC techniques and running analysis required
• High degree of mechanical aptitude
• Flexibility to work days/evenings/weekends depending on production schedules
• Understanding of proper and safe handling of hazardous materials

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
