KORE QSE Governance Manager

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Scope & Impact:

  • The Quality, Safety & Environmental Sustainability (QSE) Governance Manager plays a critical role in enabling QSE excellence in operational performance.

  • The incumbent will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the design, development, and implementation of The Coca-Cola Company's governance framework (KORE), leveraging the networked organization to develop the KORE infrastructure needed to enable the capability of our operations to deliver on our quality, safety, and sustainability responsibilities. This includes ensuring clarity of expectations as defined by our specifications, requirements, standards, and guidelines, the management and maintenance of same, and the facilitation/support to the development of the capabilities needed to operationalize QSE across the Coca-Cola system.

  • The role has an impact and influence over the fit for purpose KO system QSE governance globally.

  • Integrates people, processes (systems), and tools to increase information available to decision makers for improved decision making end-to-end within the networked organization.

  • Evaluates information from different sources to predict and prevent QSE incidents.

  • The role is a Subject Matter Expert (SME) contributor within the networked organization. The role includes the functional areas of: KORE standards and requirements, fit for purpose governance; risk intelligence and analysis, data analytics, development of mitigation plans, trend analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the strategy and vision for current and future of KORE governance framework, including an ability to understand what is needed to drive critical-to-QSE capabilities needed to operationalize QSE performance across the entire KO system.

  • Act as a subject matter expert in the development of KORE requirements (dependent on area of experience (e.g., food safety, quality, safety, sustainability). In addition, work with other subject matter experts across Corporate and operating units on the design of KORE requirements.

  • Monitors the effectiveness of KORE governance framework to ensure KORE remains a critical enabler of operational performance.

  • Provides technical expertise and hands on support to bottling partners, co-packers, and other stakeholders on how to enable fit-for-purpose governance in the development and implementation of local programs and management systems.

  • Able to leverage data and insights to recognize the need for the strengthening of KORE requirements, both reactive (following incident) and proactive as part of enabling the technical risk management framework

  • Must be able to apply knowledge of operations to understand what is needed in terms of KORE infrastructure and requirements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Connects KORE framework to other key opportunities to amplify performance including efforts supporting capability development, knowledge sharing and data intelligence.

  • Proactively reviews framework in connection with other activities, seeking to continuously improve the framework infrastructure to enhance the end user experience

  • Works with other members of the team on maintaining the KORE database.

  • Develop communication routines that connect The Coca-Cola Company to changes/advances in KORE framework

  • Ability to provide hands-on support to operations in the enhancement of operational capability & performance. Includes flexibility to be part of special operations support teams that would spend time in an operation to assist with capability development and implementation of key programs.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Biology, safety or related field is required

  • 10+ years of work experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally across both quality, safety, and sustainability.

  • Demonstrated successful experience and abilities in the areas of Integrated Management Systems and applications (ISO 9001, Lean, Six Sigma, GFSI, etc.), food regulatory, microbiology. safety

  • Proven experience in development of procedures and requirements in support of operational performance

  • Must be fluent in English, second language an asset

  • Must be able to write effectively to communicate purpose, intent of requirements

  • Can demonstrate foundational understanding of data analytics, together with the basic tools to manipulate, interpret and correlate data to segment, analyze and draw conclusions (e.g. use of Pivot tables, Power BI or equivalent).

Work Focus

  • Technical knowledge and experience in food manufacturing operations (ideally bottling operations, beverage production technology) and supplier processes.

  • Management system knowledge and auditing process knowledge

  • Must have capability to review, analyze, summarize, and interpret data, draw conclusions, make appropriate decisions and recommendations, write reports, and give oral presentations.

  • Advanced analytical, problem solving, facilitation and communication skills

  • Strong written skills based on need to effectively communicate TCCC expectations. Includes ensuring clarity of expectation, understanding how to be concise, clear, yet confident and competent to know that intended outcome can be reached based on written communication.

  • Demonstrated skill to persuade/influence both internally and externally to the function and organization.

  • Connects strategically with external and internal networks and stakeholders to drive risk intelligence mindset and capabilities.

  • Develops, implements, and continuously improves the relevant QSE TRMF performance models and systems to track risks and global mitigation plans.

  • Effective project management skills to drive results through collaborating with cross enterprise networks in delivering results.

  • Demonstrated skill to persuade/influence both internally and externally to the function and organization.

  • Work across multiple internal functions and networks including Operating units, Scientific and regulatory affairs, R&D, Analytical services laboratories, supply chain, New Ventures, and platform services
