Responsibilities Text
Tasks & Responsibilities: Analyze business conditions and engage in financial forecasting for reporting Oversee budget planning and control, cost control, variance analysis and management reporting Provide GP level clarity to the Ocean Product Review costs and productivity, implementing and modifying programs to maintain and enhance profitable operation *Collaborate with Operational Excellence & Statistical Data
Management to ensure the viability and integrity of TMS data and financial interface. * Establish and maintain systems and controls which verify the integrity of all systems, processes, and data, and enhance the Company's value Respond to Senior Management Team as assigned with accurate and timely work to facilitate financial analysis Participate in a wide variety of special projects and compile special reports Oversee company- established targets Direct budget preparation and approval process Coordinate the month-end and year-end closing processes Unbilled – tied to ETD/ETA days overdue for invoicing – based on Freight Invoice Volumes & Shipment Counts – Transportation Costing (Cost Control) –

Qualification Text
Details/Specification/Explanation of the role specific skills This is a senior manager level position. Exceptional interpersonal, analytical, problem solving, communication, leadership, and strategic skills required. Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent required. Advanced degree or equivalent preferred. CPA or MBA preferred. Generally, prefer 10 or more years in a progressive accounting/finance position with previous related management experience.
