REMOTE CALL CENTER POSITION


Must have Current Call Center Experience

Formerly the Philadelphia Electric Company, PECO is an energy company founded in 1881 and incorporated in 1929.
Operates in southeastern Pennsylvania and provides electricity to about 1.6 million customers and natural gas to over 511,000 customers. The company's electric service area covers all of the city of Philadelphia and Delaware County

Pay: $15/hourly

  • Training Hours: M-F 8am – 5pm EST for 4 weeks
  • Hours of Operations M-F 7am - 7pm
  • Your schedule will be BETWEEN the hours of operation Towards the end of training, you will receive your schedule and it will land between the hours of operation. These are full time roles, and you will have either an 8 hour or 10-hour shift (days off are adjusted).

REQUIREMENTS:
  • At least one year of RECENT call center experience
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen within 48 hours
  • Work from Home call center experience preferred but not required
  • Must have proper workspace
  • Quiet/Distraction Free work space
  • Must have cameras on the entire shift
  • Room with proper lighting
  • Must have your own router or modem that is located close to your workspace


JOB DETAILS:
  • Taking high volume inbound calls from customers who are trying to avoid service disruption
  • The customers have received some sort of notice that they need to pay on their account or may be disconnected
  • Electric company – starting, stopping service, or transferring service
  • Service area: Philadelphia and some surrounding counties
  • Offering excellent customer service
  • Patience, soft skills – de-escalation, computer skills (must be able to navigate through multiple screens and speak at the same time)
  • Challenge – must be able to take aggressive calls and not react negatively

The minimum internet speed requirements for remote work are as follows:


  • Broadband internet connection (No DSL, or Dial Up)
  • Hard wired connection (no wifi, wifi hotspots)
  • Speed Test Results: 25 mbps download, 20 mbps upload

Employees must have dedicated internet connectivity/bandwidth that is sufficient to satisfy their daily responsibilities without interruption. It is recommended that while a TSI employee is working during their shift, other members of the household restrain from activities (e.g. streaming, online gaming, etc.) that may detract from the available internet connectivity/bandwidth. Employees who have significant interruptions according to their manager may be required to work on site.
