Summary/Objective:

The Sales Account Manager sells the organization’s services by calling and visiting with prospective and established customers for a designated territory. Maintains sales programs within assigned territory by keeping customers informed about available services, prices and new products. Meets established sales quota and monitors competitive activity and trends within the territory. Determines priority and effort given to each account based on sales potential and sales maintenance.

Position Pay Range (based on experience): $61,900 - $77,360 plus bonus potential

Essential Functions:

  • Assesses physician needs that influence imaging referrals; provides the right solutions.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners in designated territory.
  • Communicates with targeted physicians using effective sales skills to grow imaging referrals.
  • Collaborates with management and the sales analytics team to assist in developing strategies and implementing brand awareness to ensure a consistent marketing message.
  • Builds positive trusting relationships with referring physicians’ medical staff and medical representatives to influence targeted groups in the decision making process.
  • Monitors and analyzes data and market conditions to identify competitive advantage.
  • Maintains accurate records and documentation for reporting and feedback.
  • Pursues continuous learning and professional development and stays up-to-date with the latest medical data.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other business opportunities.
  • Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of physicians.
  • Provides management with activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
  • Provides management with competitor updates and competitive developments by gathering current marketplace information on equipment, new services and software, etc.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position has no supervision responsibilities.

Work Environment

This job operates both in-the-field and in clinical environments. Automobile travel is required on a daily basis. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Job Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications/Experience:

  • Two plus years’ experience in a customer facing sales/marketing/business development role with proven success – healthcare preferred
  • Previous experience with Salesforce & Tableau preferred
  • Detail oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver and a team player
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately
  • Ability to excel in a very fast-pace team environment
  • Ability to continuously “exceed” company and customer expectation
  • Strong communication skills & professional demeanor

Education/Certifications:

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree
