JOB REQUIREMENTS (in order of priority)
- Adoption of EB Admin Technology’s interpretation of the Agile and Scrum frameworks to serve as a coach to scrum team members, product owners, and other contributors in the development and delivery of product increments.
- Ensuring team members, product owners, and other contributors are applying EB Admin Technology’s prescribed Agile and Scrum processes and practices.
- Establishing a culture where a team can be effective by:
- Building relationships
- Protecting the team from outside interruptions and distractions.
- Clearing impediments encountered by the team whether they are internal or external to the team.
- Addressing team member dynamics.
- Facilitating Refinements, Sprint Plannings, Daily Stand-ups, and Sprint Retrospectives to ensure ceremonies are positive, productive, and kept within the timebox.
- Coaching and assisting product owners in writing user stories, acceptance criteria, problem resolution, and Sprint Reviews.
- Continuous learning of best practices and interpretations of Agile and Scrum frameworks.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or project management equivalency. Scrum Master certification preferred.
- Ability to consistently apply EB Admin Technology’s Agile-Scrum processes and practices daily.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills including the ability to clearly identify, define, communicate, and resolve issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills especially in the context of coaching team members, explaining processes, resolving conflict, and providing performance feedback.
- Experience leading by reasoning, influence, and persuasion.
- Experience facilitating and coaching scrum teams in all scrum ceremonies.
- Ability to work within a globally distributed organization with scrum team members on-shore and off-shore.
- Ability to work effectively and organize priorities independently.
