SUMMARY
Responsible for enhancing the controls to enable facility's expansion with proper planning, security, safety, and loss prevention management.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Designing and deploying cost-effective solution for safeguarding people and property.
- Develop asset protection SOPs, training, and awareness programs.
- Workplace violence prevention
- Applicable Security, Environment and Safety laws and regulations compliance assurance
- Conduct security inspections, development, and delivery of regular reports.
- Provide a safe workplace using the best mix of personnel and technology.
- Overseas physical security programs, monitor and evaluate the performance and recommend corrective actions as appropriate.
- Maintains integrity of the loss prevention through unannounced checks of the property to identify areas in need of corrective actions.
- Conduct hazard threat vulnerability and security/risk assessment at the property.
- Quantify risk and prioritize mitigation funding initiatives.
- Collect, analyze, and redistribute intelligence to proactively prepare for and prevent near-miss and loss events.
- Minimize risk from extreme weather, natural disasters, and/or human-caused events.
- Ensure effective emergency response.
- Planning for facility's layout and space utilization
- Internal collaboration with HR, Internal Audit, Legal.
- External collaboration with security service providers, community, law enforcement and other government agencies.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in security or risk management, business or related discipline.
- Experience in the security/loss prevention or related professional area.
- Experience in security environment.
- Knowledge of risk-assessment methodology and/or security mitigation strategies, law enforcement protocols and investigation techniques.
- Working knowledge of common video management, access control, and intrusion detection technologies.
- A general interest in the environment and the desire to help make it better
- Certified protection professional (CCP) recommended
- Physical Security Professional (PSP) recommended
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Typically work is in an office environment where the noise level is low to moderate.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Work is primarily sedentary in nature.
- Significant interaction with team, some customers and vendors
- Occasional manual labor that includes lifting, bending and reaching
- Ability to read, write, listen and speak
