SUMMARY

Responsible for enhancing the controls to enable facility's expansion with proper planning, security, safety, and loss prevention management.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Designing and deploying cost-effective solution for safeguarding people and property.
• Develop asset protection SOPs, training, and awareness programs.
• Workplace violence prevention
• Applicable Security, Environment and Safety laws and regulations compliance assurance
• Conduct security inspections, development, and delivery of regular reports.
• Provide a safe workplace using the best mix of personnel and technology.
• Overseas physical security programs, monitor and evaluate the performance and recommend corrective actions as appropriate.
• Maintains integrity of the loss prevention through unannounced checks of the property to identify areas in need of corrective actions.
• Conduct hazard threat vulnerability and security/risk assessment at the property.
• Quantify risk and prioritize mitigation funding initiatives.
• Collect, analyze, and redistribute intelligence to proactively prepare for and prevent near-miss and loss events.
• Minimize risk from extreme weather, natural disasters, and/or human-caused events.
• Ensure effective emergency response.
• Planning for facility's layout and space utilization
• Internal collaboration with HR, Internal Audit, Legal.
• External collaboration with security service providers, community, law enforcement and other government agencies.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in security or risk management, business or related discipline.
• Experience in the security/loss prevention or related professional area.
• Experience in security environment.
• Knowledge of risk-assessment methodology and/or security mitigation strategies, law enforcement protocols and investigation techniques.
• Working knowledge of common video management, access control, and intrusion detection technologies.
• A general interest in the environment and the desire to help make it better
• Certified protection professional (CCP) recommended
• Physical Security Professional (PSP) recommended

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Typically work is in an office environment where the noise level is low to moderate.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
