Woodside Patrol is a small business in Portola Valley, CA. We are professional, agile and our goal is to provide quality security officers who reflect on our almost 100 years of service to our community. All officers are required to have a state issued guard card.

We are looking for a qualified Security Officer to work in some of the most frequented areas in our city. The successful candidate will be expected to protect private property and to responsibly monitor any activities within their designated area. Security Officers are often called upon to respond to calls from our customers related to safety concerns, suspicious individuals or other issues, so we're looking for individuals with a professional demeanor and caring attitude.

Responsibilities:

• Use computerized access control systems.
• Use mobile monitoring systems to control and document the location of staff and vehicles.
• Use handheld computers to control and document the whereabouts of staff and vehicles.
• Control access to buildings and areas by checking photo identification cards.
• Control access to buildings and areas by checking photo identification cards.
• Comingle people, materials and information into a safe environment.
• Protect people, materials, information and buildings from unauthorized access, use or disclosure.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
