We have a rewarding and challenging Senior Associate position available immediately in our Marketing Partnerships division. This is a great opportunity for employees with sales, client services or account management experience. Our team manages partnerships that utilize and promote all product lines, across both Event and Hospitality Clouds.
In this position, you will manage existing partner relationships and provide a high quality of service to these organizations (strategic industry partners such as MPI, SITE, AMA, and PCMA across North America and Europe), as well as identify opportunities to expand partnerships and drive new channels for marketing exposure.
You will oversee traditional Account Management roles such as monitoring account usage, renewals, and demonstrating solution-selling skills. Additionally, you will work closely with product marketing teams to execute on marketing deliverables within accounts and ensure that partnerships contribute to larger marketing goals and strategies.
In This Role, You Will::- Partner Relationship Management
- Ensure relationships with key decision-makers for strategic accounts are continuously developed, strengthened and grown
- Work with Client Services to ensure complete customer satisfaction with the Cvent product and organization
- Focus on partnership growth markets in Europe and Asia
- Onboard new clients and establish action plans for both product and marketing deliverable timelines
- Act as primary point of contact for marketing partnership deliverables for both client and internal contacts
- Marketing Channel Management & Execution
- Leverage relationships with strategic partner accounts to bring in opportunities for Cvent marketing, including tradeshow attendance, speaking, webinars, email blasts, and general exposure
- Work closely with product marketing to ensure marketing partnership direction is aligned with larger business strategy and goals
- Establish strategic action plans for agreement deliverables and manage project execution
- Contract Management & ROI Tracking
- Continuously work to expand existing client agreements across the Cvent platform and maximize return (whether through cash revenue or trades of service for marketing value
- Present products and services information to strategic accounts and follow up consistently to maximize all business opportunities utilizing pipeline report
- Monitor client agreements and timelines for renewals via pipeline report and work as primary point of contact to negotiate renewal paperwork
- Track return on partnership investments to ensure intelligent business decisions
- Evaluate and Acquire New Partners
- Evaluate and negotiate new partnerships related to strategic direction of product marketing teams
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2+ years’ experience in customer facing sales, client services and/or account management, ideally in the software industry
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Must excel at problem solving and strategic/creative thinking
- Ability to work well on a team and have enthusiasm to take initiative on collaborative efforts (i.e., oversee projects, delegate tasks and work effectively with others to achieve goals)
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in a dynamic, fast-changing entrepreneurial environment
- Must be able to integrate knowledge across disciplines to include relationship management, consultative selling, product demonstrations, operation/process flow, and product function
- Proficient experience MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Salesforce.com or similar contact management software
