Position Description

The Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst will drive our revenue planning and forecasting while owning the Finance relationship with our Sales and Marketing teams (the go-to-market or “GTM” organization). This position will partner with our Go-to- Market leadership team to provide strategic financial support, data-driven analysis, and actionable insights to inform decision-making. You will lead the monthly financial reporting process, enhance our GTM KPIs, and become a trusted partner within Finance and the across the rest of Aspire.This position reports to the Director of Finance and requires excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Manage the Go-to-Market financial planning across the company, including monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting.
  • Lead monthly financial reporting process including flash report, financial business review, and product focused Go-to-Market reviews.
  • Become a liaison between the Go-to-Market team and FP&A, establish trust and quickly understand the business, economics, and metrics.
  • Extract data sets, perform analysis, and build data models to support various reporting and initiatives.
  • Maintain key metrics to help provide insights to business performance including bookings, churn, pipeline velocity, sales productivity, etc.
  • Partner with our sales and marketing teams to assist in development, defining business rules and reporting of key performance metrics to help drive Go-to-Market productivity.
  • Prepare and analyze financial management presentations for Board of Directors, Senior Management Team, and other members of the Finance organization.
  • Focus on sources of variability, understand causes, and implement data-driven forecasting improvements.
  • Assist with due diligence in relation to acquisitions, vertical additions, etc.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA or CPA designation would be a plus
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint or Google Slides skills
  • 5+ years experience in Financial Planning and Analysis
  • Experience in software products and SaaS a plus
  • Familiarity with SaaS metrics, having experience calculating and comparing churn, dollar retention rates, cohort growth rates, lifetime value, customer acquisition cost, etc.

Preferred Skills Requirements:

  • Excellent oral and written communications, including exposure to leadership presentations
  • Strong analytical experience, with expertise in financial modeling
  • Experience building financial reporting decks for various audiences (Board of Directors, Exec Team, etc.)
  • Experience in go-to-market FP&A or partnering with Sales and Marketing functions, preferably within a SaaS organization.
  • Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills, pro-active approach, forward thinking
  • Self-Starter, able to identify problem areas and brainstorm and present recommended solutions
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
  • Working knowledge of Workday Adaptive Planning and Microsoft Power BI or Tableau

Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
