Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading Fleet Maintenance companies in the U.S., is seeking an Inventory Control Analyst. This role will be responsible for the execution of inventory strategies for the Mobile Service Centers and Fleet Service Centers. They will analyze historical data and trends to identify areas of opportunity and risk to the operations teams. They will coordinate inventory counts and manage overage of inventory levels with Senior Leadership.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Establishes performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of factors affecting inventory.
  • Develops and maintains detailed inventories of materials and supplies located in Mobile Service Centers.
  • Maintains required quantity of supplies and materials to optimize production.
  • Analyzes current inventories and procedures; suggests improvements to increase efficiency of supply chain and profitability for the company.
  • Monitories inventory levels and usage reports to ensure that reordering points are accurate.
  • Coordinates quarterly inventory counts with the operations team and seeks for areas of opportunities to improve upon.
  • Identify, prioritize, develop, and implement complex cross-functional inventory control process improvement projects that include forward-thinking on project introduction, development, and implementation

Key Competencies and Minimum Education:

  • Understanding of statistical analysis and parts forecasting methodologies
  • Highly Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.)
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete required training
  • Strong computer skills/phone/customer service/leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Must be multi-tasked oriented
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Inventory control: 1 year (Preferred)
