We are inviting you to apply for Senior Sales Manager. In this position, your primary objective is to solicit, develop, and maintain accounts in assigned market segments through direct sales efforts, while ensuring that budgeted financial results are achieved and exceeded. Additionally, you will assist the Director of Sales to supervise sales activity and production to ensure the achievement of their goals and objectives.
We do require that you be skilled in oral and written communication. The ability to public speak is desirable. You will need to establish rapport with leads while discovering their needs, overcome objections and close the sale.
It is also necessary that you have a background, consisting of at least five years of hotel sales management experience in a property larger than 500 rooms. You must show your experience and proven success in developing and closing group business. Two years of sales manager experience is needed where there was considerable time spent establishing rapport with leads, overcoming sales objections, and closing the sale. Any supervisory experience in the hotel/resort business is a plus.
