The Senior Technical Sourcer is responsible for maximizing all sourcing tools and partnerships to build talent pipelines. This role will play a pivotal role in supporting our Enterprise Technology Partners (ETP) to identify and attract top talent in the labor market.

In this role, you will be influential to our IT organization by leading critical searches and coaching team members in their search efforts.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead sourcing initiatives with a focus on continuous improvement and achieving results.
  • Partner with TA Leadership, Recruiters, and Hiring Managers to deeply understand current and future hiring needs while crafting creative strategies to engage passive high-performing talent.
  • Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies for active and passive candidates.
  • Build extensive, diverse pipelines for critical skill areas and open positions.
  • Assess sourcing practices, make recommendations for improvement, gain leadership buy-in, and implement solutions to ensure consistency across the ETP Talent Acquisition team.
  • Partner with Senior Talent Sourcing Leads to ensure alignment of resources best meet the needs of the business.
  • Develop collaborative relationships with relevant partners in ETP, Diversity and Inclusion, and other members of the ETP HR support team.
  • Act as an advocate for the TA team, raising team challenges to appropriate members of leadership to drive solutions.
  • Drive consistency in process with other sourcing support sources (i.e. contractors) to ensure consistency is achieved.
  • In partnership with the Senior Talent Sourcing Lead, build relationships with business leaders and Hiring Managers to better understand drivers, the external talent pool, and the immediate and long-term talent needs.
  • Seek and utilize analysis of market trends and provide reports and metrics on talent pipelines and sourcing activities.
  • Prepare candidate slates, conduct in-depth candidate interviews, and recommend top candidates to Hire Managers and Recruiting Partners.
  • Participate in employer and recruitment branding efforts and social media use.
  • Represent SGWS at relevant professional meetings/conferences, career fairs, networking events, college fairs, and diversity events.
  • Ensure staffing activities are conducted in compliance with corporate, local, state, and federal guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of technical recruiting or sourcing experience working within a recruiting agency, executive search, or corporate environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge with an array of progressive sourcing techniques including direct sourcing of passive candidates, gathering competitive/market intelligence, job boards, leading-edge internet, and social media sourcing techniques, networking/referral driven sourcing.
  • Experience conducting market research, mapping organizations, name generation, and candidate development
  • Familiarity with technology markets and competitive landscape.
  • Experience setting and managing realistic expectations with stakeholders including recruiters, human resources, and hiring managers.
  • Experience creating sourcing metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of sourcing team activities.
  • Ability to develop and track talent pipelines and recruiting metrics.
  • Strong candidate assessment skills, cold-calling, relationship building, and experience in behavioral interviewing techniques.
  • Ability to adapt to and learn new technologies and ways of working.

  • Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor)
  • Physical demands with activity or condition may include occasional to the rare amount of time include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping.
  • The critical nature of this job may require extended hours, overtime, and weekends.
  • May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs.
