Galley Beach is a high volume, fine dining seasonal restaurant, (May-October), on Nantucket Island. We utilize high quality ingredients sourced as locally as possible. All seafood and most produce are from on-island purveyors and farms. An award winning wine and beverage program. We provide excellent guest service in a high volume beachfront location. Attention to detail throughout service is of crucial importance. The menu changes seasonally, Spring, Early Summer, Late Summer and Fall menus as well as daily specials all dictated by available fresh and local ingredients. We offer industry leading compensation opportunities and housing to the ideal candidates. - Welcoming and hospitable personality
- Accurate data entry and daily reporting on Micros POS systems
- Ability to utilize the company HR platform Paycom for scheduling, training, communication and direct deposit. PAYCOM App Version 6.0.26
- Collaboration is key. Willingness to crosstrain as dinning room, beach/lounge and Cliffside cafe server.
- Comprehensive food and beverage menu knowledge and communication skills.
- Delivering a memorable dining experience by resolving all customer issues promptly
- Excellent table maintenance skills. Awareness overall cleanliness and composition of the dinning and beach area.
- Ability to lift 40lbs. Assitance with event set-up, furniture moving, and catering equipment management for large special events.
- Compliance with state and company health policies and regulations for food service establishments.
