The Compensation Consultant will report into the Senior Director Total Rewards and will be responsible for developing best practice employee Total Reward solutions designed to support our employees within Puerto Rico

Primary Responsibilities:

• 
  Develop compensation solutions to meet strategic business needs
• 
  Broad experience of Puerto Rico Total Reward practices
• 
  Develop best practice total reward principles to provide appropriate solutions designed to support business growth while remaining aligned to the broader UHG Enterprise Total Rewards Philosophy
• 
  Engage and partner with local leaders and other Human Capital teams to address Total Reward related needs
• 
  Bring and develop specific local market intelligence into the organizations
• 
  Coordinate with global peers to work on global initiatives across UHG
• 
  Work closely with human capital, payroll, legal, and communications to ensure alignment and compliance across the region, as needed

Required Qualifications:

• 
  University/Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Finance/Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field
• 
  2+ years of Total Reward experience, including experience with analysis and understanding of Puerto Rico Total Rewards practices
• 
  Solid market data and analysis experience
• 
  Experience of using Excel as an analytical tool (knowledge of key functions such as Pivot Tables, and the use of key formulae such as lookups and If statements)
• 
  Experience working directly with all employee levels to ensure strong stakeholder management
• 
  Experience with virtual and in person presentations
• 
  Experience working in a matrixed work environment
• 
  English Proficiency
