The Role

We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Recruiter to support our face paced field production hiring across all functions as needed. This position requires an experienced professional who can perform full-cycle, high volume recruiting, with a keen eye for hiring and onboarding with the idea of retention and growth potential in mind. to amplify SPS PoolCare’s mission of elevating the pool care industry. You will help to build creative process improvements that will scale with the Talent Acquisition department as the needs of the organization grow.

The Talent Acquisition Recruiter must exhibit a can-do attitude and approach work with vigor and determination. You must have a keen interest in being a part of a fast-paced growth organization and have the drive to learn quickly, lean in where needed, and be a bit of a perfectionist along the way.

To succeed in this role, you must be a strategic thinker with outstanding communication who is organized and collaborative and can adapt to and thrive in a dynamic startup environment.

The Day-to-Day

  • Be the SPS PoolCare culture gatekeeper, working hard to bring together the best team possible by conducting full-scale competency-based interviews
  • Activate your creative ninja sourcing skills to find candidates for entry-level to leadership roles using job boards, social media, job fairs, and networking events
  • Assess each potential new employee by thoughtfully evaluating their strengths, weaknesses, and overall fit to create our most valuable asset – our team
  • Ensure SPS PoolCare’s core values are messaged and exhibited to every candidate you encounter, remembering that how you approach candidate interactions will convey our values much more effectively than your words
  • Assist with onboarding new hires in a timely manner
  • Other projects as assigned
Requirements:


The Person

  • Bachelor's degree in communication, human resources, business administration, or a related field preferred
  • A proven track record of attracting, selling, and negotiating the opportunity to work for a world-class organization
  • A minimum of three years’ experience as a full-cycle recruiter, preferably
  • A high level of recruiting technology literacy with proficiency in assisting HR with onboarding as needed
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative team spirit
  • Love of high-volume recruiting, career pathing, and changing lives

The Environment

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time
  • Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat
  • Travel up to 20% of the time
