About the Position

The collaborative, impassioned, and knowledgeable professional will bring the following qualities to the team:

People Strategy

·Understand how to develop and implement a human resources strategy (preferably in a restaurant setting) that supports organizational growth

· Desire to stay current on best practices and trends related to human resources

· Ability to implement current best practices and trends into work assignments

· Comfortable consulting with restaurant management in an effort to lead change that facilitate the organization’s human resource strategies and goals

Workforce Planning, Staffing and Talent Management

· Able to conduct quarterly staffing analysis

· Familiarity conducting compensation and benefits analysis

· Adept at learning and utilizing software such as McHire and/or application tracking systems to manage the hiring process

· Knowledge of how to track and analyze people data metrics to ensure staffing needs are consistently met

· Connected with or able to connect with local hiring agencies to introduce McDonald’s brand to job seekers

· Work with McDonald’s restaurant management teams to support staffing needs

· Comfortable preparing for annual people brand standards reviews

· Familiarity with job forecasting and ability to coordinate forward-looking hiring to ensure a healthy talent pipeline

Training and Development

· Able to become a subject matter expert (SME) for organization’s training and development tools

· Serve as the organizational lead for the development of crew and managers

· Experience tracking the development and class attendance of all employees

· Comfortable identifying resources that help strengthen restaurant training for crew and managers

· Desire to attend training workshops and classes, as necessary, to continue professional development

Restaurant Profitability

· Understanding of how to support the restaurants, as required, through audits, analysis and coaching

· Strategies to work with restaurant leadership to elevate priority restaurant performance that contribute to meeting annual/quarterly business plans intended to sustain and increase guest satisfaction and profitability

· Comfortable supporting management to ensure completion of required operations assessments

·Able to support restaurant leadership to ensure completion of required action plans and performance improvements

· Adept at making informed business decisions using financial and operating information to align human resources with business strategy

Compliance

· Understanding of federal, state, and local compensation laws and standards to ensure McDonald's is always in compliance and in line with best practices

· Ability to ensure compliance and enforcement of all local, state, and federal human resources laws and standards to ensure McDonald's is always in compliance

Ideally you possess:

Bachelor of Science degree in business management, or related field

2+ years’ experience in a professional human resources role

1+ years’ experience in a restaurant setting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
