Position Summary:
Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, the TA Specialist is responsible for facilitating the logistics of the organizations recruitment of new talent and partnering with Talent Consultants on ensuring a timely and effective onboarding process. Ensures candidates are accurately and effectively tracked within the system and all necessary communication between the candidate and the organization are taking place.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Manage the hiring process, including communication with Talent Acquisition, IT, and candidates, coordinates new employee orientation, processes Workday transactions, etc.
  • Manage onboarding process which includes administrative oversight involving the completion of; Background checks, , safety training, I9’s, employment and education verifications. Sending; email for initial IT setup, onboarding plan templates to hiring managers, and link to complete new hire announcements.
  • Responds to questions about the organization and open positions, and answers frequently asked questions.
  • Administrator and track all temp/contractor hires including onboarding and background checks.
  • Communicate with Hiring Managers on status and updates
  • Ensure agency candidates are properly managed through temp workflow
  • Confirm with agency the background check and onboarding paperwork is complete prior to assignment
  • Coordinates with IT to schedule IT Orientation on first day and adds calendar invite
  • Hires Temp/Consultant into Workday system once background check clears
  • Participate in projects related to Talent Acquisition
  • Conduct initial phone screens as needed
  • Manage TA email inbox, and agilon 101 training inbox. Respond accordingly to prospective candidate’s inquiries and adjusts trainings when needed
  • Manage agilon Learning calendar as it pertains to Manager Onboarding schedule and inviting attendees to calendar events
Required Qualifications:
Minimum Experience
  • One year of experience in one or more of the following: Human Resources, Recruiting or admin
  • Ability to keep hiring process orderly and stay on top of time-sensitive deadlines, over lapping time zones, etc
Education/Licensure:
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
