The primary responsibility of The North Face Brand Specialist Exploration Ambassador is to create excitement and drive traffic & conversion in The North Face shops. Through ‘class of our own’ customer service, compelling visual presentations & meaningful community engagement, The North Face Brand Specialist Ambassador will create an environment that adds unique value to the consumer experience in our shop spaces.
Responsibilities for The North Face Brand Specialist Exploration Ambassador:
Customer Service:
- Ensure high levels of consumer satisfaction through ‘class of our own’ customer service during key selling times
- Become an expert on TNF products, technology, and seasonal Public Lands assortments
- Assess customer needs & make product recommendations to support their end use and style
- Drive sales with product knowledge & genuine enthusiasm
- Partner with local TNF Tech Rep to facilitate seasonal product/brand clinics for store staff
- Serve as primary point of contact for TNF product & technology inquires in assigned door
- Provide local consumer feedback & insight on new products and other merchandise
- Represent the brand positively in all settings
- Flexibility with schedule to include nights/evening and weekends shifts.
Visual Presentation:
- Drive sales through execution of compelling visual presentations
- Consistently maintain all visual presentation standards as outlined by TNF and Public Lands leadership
- Lead seasonal floor set execution with support of Public Lands teammates
- Ensure all VM collateral is received & intact; Communicate any concerns with appropriate TNF Marketing
- Take initiative to identify key styles, make VM recommendations to maximize sales & improve turn of slow sellers
- Maintain TNF VM supplies in a neat & efficient manner
- Organizing and displaying of The North Face merchandise to company standards Drive sales
Community Engagment:
- Drives sales through meaningful community engagement
- Build, organize, execute quarterly grassroots in-store activations to drive traffic and create energy
- Serve as primary brand liaison and on-site point of contact for corporate activations
- Build & maintain active, local client records; Engage client book to drive traffic
- Generate brand awareness through word-of-mouth marketing Drive sales
Administrative:
- Complete comprehensive weekly shop report including sales recap, photos of VM execution and community engagement updates
- Complete comprehensive recap of all executed activations
- Complete seasonal roll up including sales download, VM highlights and activation learnings
- Complete all assigned customer service & product trainings; attends required store meetings & clinics
- Will perform these & other duties as assigned by management
All Guides are required to adhere to all safety policies and procedures. Additionally, as business needs arise, other tasks may become necessary.
Qualifications - External
Success Profile:
- 1-3 years of retail management experience required.
- World-class customer service skill and interpersonal/communication skills
- Completed coursework in visual merchandising, design or fashion merchandising or comparable in-store merchandise presentation experience.
- Proved working experience in retail sales.
- True passion for the outdoors and getting others outside. Knowledge of issues pertaining to the environment and public lands, or willingness to learn
- A passion for relentless improvement, embracing and driving positive change
- Flexible availability – including nights, weekend, and holidays
