We are seeking a UX Researcher on a contract basis to help support our customer’s business needs. You will be part of our customer's Dating research team. We work across all Dating pillars and conduct qualitative research on a monthly basis. You’ll be expected to manage the relationships with our product partners and execute end-to-end primary research using a wide variety of methods in response to our project needs.

What you'll do:
Design hypotheses and lead studies that examine both user behavior and attitudes.
Conduct research using a wide variety of qualitative methods (knowledge of quantitative methods is a plus).
Generate actionable insights that both fuel ideation and evaluate product experiences.
Communicate results and illustrate suggestions in compelling and creative ways.
Post and track topic submission requests for inclusion in monthly Vision Research.
Meet with cross functional partners to clarify research needs.
Draft research questions and research materials (guide, stimuli, etc.).
Finalize materials in collaboration with cross functional partners.
Coordinate participant recruitment with support from our recruitment team.
Conduct research sessions.
Summarize findings and socialize results with larger team.
Review existing research to support ongoing research needs

Must-Haves:
2+ years experience in Applied Product Research.
Ability to create a research plan including logical formulation of a research hypothesis.
Experience with a range of Qualitative methods including but not limited to interviews, contextual inquiry, concept testing, and diary studies.
Basic understanding of Quantitative and Statistical concepts.
Ability to ask, as well as answer Product and User Experience-related questions.
Ability to handle complex information and adapt to a changing environment.
Ability to communicate research results to cross-functional stakeholders with data storytelling, presentation slides, and storytelling.

Education:
Bachelors, Masters, or Ph.D. in Human Behavior-related fields (HCI, Psychology, Sociology, Information Science, Political Science, etc.).

Hours & Location:
M-F, 40 hours/week . This role will be 100% Remote for candidates based in Denver, NYC, Houston, LA or San Francisco.
