Job Overview:
The Printing Machine Operator is responsible for start up and running of the printing press from feeding of the product, the registration of the printing plate, through packaging of the product. Responsible for a six head system, adjusting roll pressure and ink flow. Must perform minor maintenance such as greasing, mandrel changes and roller pressures. Identifies solutions to minimize down time, reduce maintenance costs and eliminate re-occurrence of problems. Track production and reduce scrap.

• Run presses, wrappers, and packaging machines
• Changeover presses and inks from job to job
• Replace plastic cup stock
• Run press as efficiently as possible
• Inspect printed cups as they come off presses to assure quality and meet production standards.
• Make minor adjustments to machine to maintain quality and productivity.
• Be able to perform minor troubleshooting and know when to partner with a mechanic.
• Must be responsible for quality of product off machine.
• Must be responsible for housekeeping around machine.
• Any other duties assigned by supervisor.

• Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with extreme temperatures and noise.
