Job description

Phatt Features is looking for a contract Video Editor for weekly project based work. This Spring season's first production would be a 6 episode network documentary design series. The ideal candidate will have experience editing short and long form branded content, documentary, and narrative projects.

Position Requirements:

- Logging raw footage

- Discussing and collaborating on tailoring narrative arcs

- Following a narrative and assembling footage to fit a specific duration

- Titling and basic motion graphics

- Basic sound mixing

- Color correcting and grading

- Attention to detail

- Ability to prioritize and work independently with minimal supervision

The majority of our workflow is within Final Cut Pro X. Editing hardware with the ability to handle high resolution and frame rates is necessary.

Candidates can work remotely, however proximity to the Tri-State area is preferred (NY, NJ, CT).
