Treffpunkt is not your average restaurant. We are a German community center in North Scottsdale with the mission to bring German cultures to life. Our restaurant offers top-class modern German cuisine and is looking for you! You will have a lot of fun interacting with our international guests and serving authentic delicious German food. We are a small team and would like to welcome a motivated server to our “little Family”.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare tables, present menu, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food and service. Remain knowledgeable about daily specials.
• Service of food and/or beverage to include the order-taking, delivery and clearing of any food and/or beverage items.
• Confirms ready orders for accuracy, then brings them from kitchen to guest, as part of team service.
• Ensures Guest satisfaction throughout the meal service, including drink refills, pre-bussing and removal of empty plates.
• Delivers check, completes transaction and thanks guests for coming to restaurant.
• Abide by all state, federal regulations and restaurant liquor policies pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Work Authorization (required)
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to operate computerized system (Square), make change and accurately conduct credit card transactions
• Team Player
• Valid Food Worker Card (if required by state or county)
• Liquor License Card
• Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written, German is not required but would be a plus)
• Should have a courteous and friendly demeanor with guests and coworkers
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry food plates for prolonged periods of time
