Summary

Maintain positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with customers, clients, co-workers and supervisors. Responsible for coordinating work for Warehouse and Shipping employees. Manages all activities of shipping and receiving warehouse. Responsible for meeting high customer services levels and management of department within budgetary guidelines.


Description of Duties and Responsibilities:

The following is a list of specific duties, which are considered to be essential functions of this job. This list is not exhaustive, as all positions at the company are dynamic.


Coordinate/facilitate and be able to motivate employees to their highest potential. Maintain positive attitudes to assure company and customer satisfaction.

Maintain, train and manage to SOP’s and established labor standards.

Manage receiving schedules.

Meet shipping schedules.

Train Forklift Operators.


Qualifications and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent. Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Must have prior work experience with a warehouse management system to include inventory control, materials management, and warehousing.

Competent in detailed analytics.

Well versed in MS office products (Excel Word & Outlook).

Must be able to motivate and develop individuals in a high-performance work cell environment on a daily basis.

Prior first-hand experience operating a forklift and/or stand-up lift truck necessary.

Continuous mental and or visual attention to numbers.

Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
