Join our team as a 3rd shift Maintenance Technician:

• Hours: 3rd Shift, 11:00pm - 7:00am
• Overtime / Weekends: Every other weekend; with opportunity to flex time throughout the week
• Compensation: Pay up to $38.00 per hour depending on aptitude test and experience
• $1,000 sign on bonus paid at 6 month of employment!

(Please note: We are seeking Maintenance Technicians for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift. Shift premiums $1.50-2.00 per hour depending on the schedule.)

Job Definition:
As a member of the Urbana team, you will have responsibility for installing, maintaining and repairing a broad range of mechanical systems and equipment including hydraulic, pneumatic, and power transmission systems. This position will provide assistance in operating functions as necessary to maintain continuous operations as well as repair or diagnose faulty equipment or machinery.

Job Responsibilities:

• Installation, disassembly, repair and reassembly of equipment such as pumps, gearboxes, mechanical drives or other mechanical equipment/machinery.
• Test, diagnose and repair malfunctioning machinery and communicate with Maintenance Department or Production Management.
• Replace/repair faulty components of machine such as relays, printed circuit boards, switches, motors and adjusts mechanical parts as necessary.
• Adjust, align, and calibrate equipment.
• Complete Preventative Maintenance activities as assigned.
• Record appropriate equipment information concerning equipment repairs and performance through the work order system.
• Inform facility leaders and other technicians of pertinent information and relay to other departments if necessary.
• Maintain clean work environment and document housekeeping and 5S compliance.
• Adhere to company safety regulations.
• Other duties may be required or assigned.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Industrial Maintenance experience is required (may include Skilled Trades programs or Military)
• 3 - 5 years of mechanical or electrical experience
• Must be proficient in the safe use of hand tools, power tools, meters, calibrators, programmers and other tooling typical of mechanical service
• Physical requirements – lift and manipulate unwieldy parts weighing up to 100 lbs
• Must be able to work in a team environment
• Ability to train others
