ABOUT US.
- Pro-Tech Painting has been specializing in the painting of large-scale homeowners’ associations, multi-family, commercial, and retail exterior painting projects over the last 30 plus years, which has placed us as a well-known and respected leader within our industry. Our home base, as well as majority of our projects, are in San Diego, CA, but we complete our projects as far as Borrego Springs and Temecula.
LET’S CHECK THE FIT.
- In this position, you will be filing invoices, recording credit card charges, managing vendor accounts, along with other accounting duties while simultaneously managing crew safety, office inventory, and office maintenance checks. Hey, this is supposed to be an accounting position! Yes yes, but we are looking for someone that ‘going the extra mile’ comes natural too. EXAMPLE OF RESPONSIBILITIES.
- Accounting: Creating and recording invoices for company vendors, inputting financial data, and managing vendor accounts, etc.
- Office/Warehouse Inventory: Maintaining an organized system of consistently updated inventory lists for office and warehouse supplies, ordering company apparel, etc.
- Maintenance: Responsible for managing a history of company vehicle maintenance, arranging maintenance checks for vehicles, confirming and recording with field supervisors warehouse inventory is properly monitored, and office building maintenance is up to date (i.e. electrical, pest control, cleaning crew, etc.).
- Safety Committee: Scheduling and discussing safety protocols for all field workers bi-weekly, ordering necessary safety supplies, and updating safety documents.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT / OPEN OFFICE.
- The job is primarily inside our stylish and very open concept self-designed office here in Miramar, San Diego. We have lots of amenities nearby our office. Do you enjoy San Diego’s craft beer? Guess whose office is less than .5 miles from Ballast Point? Correct, your future office. Remember though, this position is not 100% in office. At times it will require your visit to job-related locations. But when you are in the office, you can jam to Da Baby’s new single, or Tik Tok songs you just can’t get out of your head while you are working. Our company encourages their employees to dress professionally when attending meetings, but business casual if you are spending your day in the office that shows your unique personality. A few days of the year, the office enjoys going out for a long lunch together, or to a mid-week happy hour but I bet you would never guess that we also let our staff bring their pet to work a few days of the year either! PROFESSIONAL SKILLS WE’RE HOPING YOU’LL BRING.
- Previous or relatable complex job experience.
- Customer service experience.
- PC computer skills required. We use Windows ® and Microsoft Office ® suite all day long.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including grammar.
- Crushing organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Crushing attention to detail and excellence.
- Must be primarily prewired as an optimistic person as we are a small team in our office and a bunch of good attitude helps us all scale high walls!
HOURS AND BENEFITS.
- Flexible. Position is starting at 9:00am to 6:00pm Monday through Thursday. Friday’s start at 7:00AM to 4:00PM.
