Color Guard Instructor
- Assists in rehearsal planning, show design, and in implementing auxiliary choreography in conjunction with the head and assistant directors
- Works with Choreographer and student captains to develop, learn, and teach auxiliary choreography to color guard students. Equipment includes, but is not limited to, standard flags, swing flags, and airblades.
- Educate students on basics of dance and auxiliary movement, including appropriate vocabulary, through modeling, practice, and individualized feedback
- Maintains inventory of color guard equipment including silks, weights, tips, poles, etc. Communicates missing or damaged equipment to head director.
- Attends
- Band Camp (August 7-10 & 14-17)
- Minimum one (1) two-hour sectional per week, scheduled per instructor/student availability
- Home varsity football games (Sept.8, 22, 29, & Oct. 13)
- Saturday competitions (Sept. 16, 23, Oct. 7, 14)
- Corridor Marching Classic (Oct. 9)
