Commercial Litigation Attorney

Volk Law Offices, P.A. is a business law firm that was established in 1994. We are in the heart of downtown Melbourne, FL. Our office offers panoramic views of the Intercostal waterway, friendly experienced staff, health benefits, 401K, paid time off and quarterly bonus compensation based on productivity. We are a client focused law firm that provides a low stress level work environment (billable hours 6.5 daily) for our attorneys. Our paralegal have 30+ years of experience and are happy to assist with moving cases along. Case management is a breeze with our immense amount of resources to help you.

We are looking for a Commercial Litigation Attorney.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

• Handle all aspects of litigation including depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials
• Manage a litigation caseload from inception to completion either independently or under the supervision of other attorneys
• Be able to effectively manage multiple clients and matters
• Conduct excellent legal research and provide thoughtful written analyses of legal questions
• Draft motions and briefs with minimal supervision
• Work closely with other attorneys to provide recommendations for resolving legal issues
• Attend hearings and pretrial conferences
• Provide professional and timely updates on cases to clients
• Develop case strategies and projections

Qualifications for Commercial Litigation Lawyer

• Commercial Litigation
• Courtroom Experience (1st or second chair)
• Superior written and oral communication skills
• Experience with electronic discovery tools
• Preferred JD from an accredited law school
• Must have Florida Bar License and be eligible to practice law in good standing

Pay: $90,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
