Job description
The Delivery Driver is responsible for assisting the Warehouse Manager in the upkeep of warehouse, as well as delivering equipment and supplies to job sites.
- Delivering supplies needed to specified job sites in a timely manner.
- Loading and unloading various material needed for each specific job.
- Managing calendar with delivery schedule, and communicating with project managers as well as facilities manager on when deliveries are needed
- Assist around the warehouse as needed, including assisting sheet metal fabricators as needed.
- Be punctual, work your schedule, and conduct yourself in a professional business manner at all times
- Wear company uniform as outlined by management
- Driving knowledge of Richmond area, Northern Virginia area and the surrounding suburbs
- Make deliveries in a pleasant, timely manner according to company and department standards
- Assist with maintaining cleanliness of the warehouse by putting away supplies in their proper place.
- Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor
- Provide the company with current driving record and license and keep it up-to-date with HR
