Principal Duties

• Implementing and evaluating active programs and support plans for the individuals.
• Preparing meals and assisting with feeding as needed for the individuals
• Performing direct care services to include personal hygiene care, toileting, or dressing.
• Participating in and monitoring individuals to their activities or classroom time for training, or life skills training
• Supervising the individuals to ensure safety of self, others, and property are maintained
• Understanding the developmental needs of each individual
• Coaching, mentoring, or otherwise helping individuals to improve their knowledge, skills and abilities.
• Observing, reporting and documenting the behavior of the individuals

• Follow routine schedules and support plan for each individual
• Show compassion, reliability and provide excellent care
• Display excellent communication skills and positive attitude
• Properly manage aggressive, self-abusive, and non-compliant individuals, and be able to implement and follow prescribed behavioral program plan
• Have the ability to lift, transfer, pull or push up to 70 pounds. Knowledge of using assistive devices

Experience Required:

Caregiving, CNA, Health Aide: 2 years

CPR/First Aid Certification

SOAR/MANDT Certification

Drivers License

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
