We are seeking a Director M&A Integration to join our Rexel USA Remote position!

Summary
The Director Mergers & Acquisitions Integration is responsible for comprehensive program management of the strategic and tactical integration of new acquisitions as well as the divestiture of existing businesses that are no longer in the strategic interest of Rexel USA. Using the Company’s integration/divestiture framework, this role partners and collaborates with the Acquired Company/Divestments, Region(s), Business Unit(s), and Function(s) to coordinate the strategic and tactical business needs of all stakeholders to minimize complexities and speed up delivery value while facilitating successful integrations that accelerate commercial growth, leverage synergies, and optimize scale.


What You’ll Do

  • Facilitate and execute integrations and divestitures in a manner consistent with the Company’s acquisition/divestiture playbook covering all key process elements that accelerate value delivery
  • Partner with and lead multi-disciplinary teams through the integration/divestment process in a manner aligned with the strategic imperatives of the impacted region(s), business unit(s), and function(s)
  • Provide critical integration insights and key divestment data to enable integration/divestiture progression
  • Coordinate and facilitate integration/divestiture workshops or other forums that solidify integration/divestiture strategy while generating actions that ensure strategic objectives are achieved
  • Project manage post close integration activities
  • In collaboration with the Region President(s), develop a region level strategic integration roadmap and tactical execution plan which should include, but not be limited to, delivery of immediate synergies until full integration is achieved
  • Track the value indicators through the integration/divestment process and provide routine updates to senior leadership
  • Evaluate integration/divestiture process effectiveness and provide improvement insights to be considered for future integrations/divestitures
  • Manage, coach, and develop team members through creating exposures, experiences, and education opportunities that facilitate their overall career growth, development, and retention
  • Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Graduate Degree preferred
  • 7+ years of business experience with exposure to the end-to-end Merger & Acquisition transactional and integration activity
  • Experience navigating complex structures within a corporate matrixed organization and partnering with and leading multi-disciplinary teams through the integration/divestment process
  • Extensive project management experience in leading complex, cross-functional, regional projects

  • Ability to identify, oversee, and implement short and long-term strategies through the execution of projects aligned with the strategic objectives of the Regions, Business Units, Functions, and the Company overall
  • Ability to effectively facilitate information exchange that delivers tangible results, conduct effective business meetings, present to small and large groups, and deliver concise and precise information to Senior Management
  • Ability to accurately listen to others, understand their feelings, needs, and points of view and then respond appropriately
  • Ability to develop practical business solutions to simple and complex business issues while preserving relationships through the delivery of mutually acceptable outcomes
  • Ability to use other interconnected competencies to evaluate data and other information to quickly isolate facts, determine root cause, and develop meaningful conclusions and solutions
