Customer Service Representative
DRT Transportation is a third-party logistics (3PL) and intermodal marketing company (IMC) providing transportation sourcing and logistics management to clients across North America. With offices in Pennsylvania, Texas, Illinois, Minnesota, Tennessee, and Canada, our team works around the clock to ensure that our client's shipments are delivered safely and on time and are kept in the loop throughout the process.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities
· Build positive relationships with customers and deliver winning results for customers by offering strategic logistics solutions, becoming a key aspect of their operation
· Seek out, receive and process transportation requests for customers while negotiating market-savvy rates, adhering to customer requirements, and tracking the progression of the accounts
· Manage and grow accounts, grow customer loyalty, and achieve future referrals of new customers by providing advanced-level service, communication, and exceeding customer expectations
· Take advantage of opportunities for new business by making outbound calls to vendors, key decision makers, planners, and other transportations providers
· Anticipate, address and resolve any issues with delayed or damaged shipments
· Stay up to date and knowledgeable with market insights and seasonal fluctuations that could have various impacts on the business
Customer Service Representative Qualifications
· Must possess exceptional interpersonal communication, problem-solving and customer service skills.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
· Team player with proven ability to work well under pressure
· Be professional, courteous, helpful, and prompt with the attention and service given to our customers
· Capable of interacting effectively with all levels of personnel in a fast-paced, just-in-time delivery environment.
· High School diploma required with a bachelor’s degree preferred
· Knowledge of Microsoft office including outlook or similar applications
