Human Resources Generalist

Job Summary

We are looking for a Human Resources Generalist to perform various administrative tasks and support for our Human Resources department. These responsibilities will include updating our employee records with new hire information, posting job ads, and preparing HR-related reports.

Ultimately, you will assist in organizing and coordinating our HR policies and procedures while supporting all efforts to maintain a safe and productive working environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Process, verify, and maintain personnel related documentation, including staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, classifications, and employee leaves of absence.
  • Explain company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to employees or job applicants.
  • Handle all administrative tasks for onboarding, new-hire orientations, and exit interviews, including data entry in human resources information systems (HRIS) and audits accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide a dedicated and effective HR advisory service to employees that covers absence and health issues, conduct and capability, organizational change, and all other employee-relations matters.
  • Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook, employee directory, and organizational chart, and contribute to policy development.
  • Evaluate personnel practices to ensure adherence to regulations.
  • Compile and prepare reports and documents pertaining to personnel activities.
  • Maintain current knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action guidelines and laws, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
  • Address employee relations issues, such as harassment allegations, work complaints, or other employee concerns.
  • Advise management on organizing, preparing, or implementing recruiting or retention programs.
  • Investigate accidents and injuries to determine causes and preventive measures.
  • Conduct or coordinate worker training in safety and the use of safety equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • 2+ years of experience working in related field (required)

Work Environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
